The Large DNA Fragment Extraction Kit is meticulously engineered to recover or concentrate DNA fragments ranging from 100bp to 50Kb from agarose gel, PCR products, or enzymatic reactions. Using a concentrated sodium buffer, the kit effectively dissolves agarose gel and denatures enzymes, enabling DNA fragments to bind to silica beads. Contaminants such as salts, enzymes, and unincorporated nucleotides are removed using an ethanol-based Wash Buffer, with purified DNA eluted in low-salt Elution Buffer, TE Buffer, or water. This streamlined process eliminates the need for phenol extraction or alcohol precipitation, providing high-concentration DNA (10-20µl elution volume) ready for applications like cloning, sequencing, and enzymatic modifications—all within just 20-30 minutes.
