Efficient Recovery of Large DNA Fragments
The Large DNA Fragment Extraction Kit is meticulously engineered to recover or concentrate DNA fragments ranging from 100bp to 50Kb from agarose gel, PCR products, or enzymatic reactions. Using a concentrated sodium buffer, the kit effectively dissolves agarose gel and denatures enzymes, enabling DNA fragments to bind to silica beads. Contaminants such as salts, enzymes, and unincorporated nucleotides are removed using an ethanol-based Wash Buffer, with purified DNA eluted in low-salt Elution Buffer, TE Buffer, or water. This streamlined process eliminates the need for phenol extraction or alcohol precipitation, providing high-concentration DNA (10-20µl elution volume) ready for applications like cloning, sequencing, and enzymatic modifications—all within just 20-30 minutes.
Reliable and Easy-to-Use Performance
The kit features a built-in pH indicator for precise pH optimization and includes sodium acetate for pH adjustments after gel dissociation or PCR reactions. Designed for convenience and reliability, the Large DNA Fragment Extraction Kit undergoes rigorous lot-to-lot quality testing, ensuring consistent performance in recovering DNA fragments. With an impressive yield of 70-95% for fragments 100bp-10Kb and 60-80% for fragments over 10Kb, researchers can rely on this kit for superior purification results. Free samples are available upon request, making it an accessible choice for efficient DNA fragment recovery in diverse molecular biology workflows.
