MH-200 Small Rat Restraint: Safety and Versatility for Research Labs

The MH-200 Small Rat Restraint is a durable and reliable solution designed to enhance the safety of both the animal and the handler during life science research procedures. Constructed from ¼” cast acrylic with a 2-inch inner diameter, this restraint features an adjustable nose piece and tightening knob to securely accommodate varying animal sizes. The tail-first entry design allows for easy access to the tail vein, making procedures like tail injections, bleeds, and warming straightforward and efficient. A hole in the nylon nose piece ensures the animal can breathe comfortably while restrained, and four ½-inch access ports on either side allow for subcutaneous injections and other procedures.
