The Belly Bath is a versatile laboratory instrument optimized for Western Blot applications. It features a temperature range of 30°C to 75°C with a heat-up rate of approximately 3°C per minute, and maintains water stability at ±0.2°C. The water bath has an orbit size of 1” with adjustable pitch control (0° – 8°) and comes with the Belly Dancer 115 V unit, integrated temperature control, a removable water bath with lid, a flat power cord, a white silicone mat, and an operation manual. The microprocessor PID controller allows precise temperature management, while the dedicated ON/OFF switch ensures ease of use.

Applications:

This shaking water bath is ideal for heat activation of serums, restriction enzyme digests, protein assays, and DNA sequencing. It supports a range of Life Science applications including nucleic acid hybridizations, overnight lysis of tissue samples, and high-stringency filter washes. The unit’s gentle agitation combined with its heating capabilities makes it suitable for Western Blot procedures and other applications. For maintenance, clean the unit with stainless steel polish and periodic detergent washing to ensure long-lasting performance.
