The IB81200 contains a replacement Thermoplate kit for the IB80000 STS-45i Sequencer. The Thermoplate kit is the main white plate that the gel plates fix against during the electrophoresis run. This is an aluminum plate that is coated with a special white thermal coating. The white color makes it much easier to read the sequencing bands during the run.
