Ready-to-Use IPTG/X-GAL Solution for Cloning Selection
IBI’s IPTG/X-GAL Solution is the perfect tool for selecting cloning constructs in LacZ expression systems involving the lacI repressor. This ready-to-use product comes in an easy-to-use spray bottle, making application simple and efficient. With a concentration of 8 mg/ml IPTG and X-GAL, each pump delivers approximately 0.20 ml of solution, ensuring precise and consistent application. Spread the solution evenly on the plate, allow 5–10 minutes for absorption, and experience enhanced results thanks to our proprietary formulation, which intensifies blue color contrast and reduces false positives for effortless colony picking.
Enhanced Stability and Performance
IBI’s IPTG/X-GAL Solution is uniquely formulated to remain stable at room temperature for extended periods, making it more versatile than other solutions on the market. For long-term storage, refrigeration at 4°C is recommended. Additionally, this solution is made without DMSO, ensuring safe and effective use. Its enhanced blue color improves colony visibility and reduces the chances of errors, making it an indispensable tool for molecular cloning workflows. Choose IBI’s solution for reliable, high-performance colony selection in every experiment.
