IBI Carbenicillin is commonly used as a selective antibiotic for resistive Agrobacterium and E. coli at typical concentrations of 100 – 500 ug/ml in water. A stock solution of antibiotics dissolved in H2O should be sterilized by filtration through a 0.22-micron filter.
IBI Carbenicillin Disodium Salt is packaged in a small glass amber bottle and shipped on blue ice packs via UPS Blue (2-day service). This means that the product will ship Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, orders placed after Noon on Wednesday will be held until the following Monday.
