IBI Cell Culture Water for Precision and Quality Control:

IBI Cell Culture water is meticulously engineered for a variety of demanding applications in cell culture and related fields, including nuclear transfer, transfection, transformation, and tissue culture. It’s also ideal for LAL testing and other preparations that require rigorous quality control. This premium water is processed using advanced purification technology, incorporating reverse osmosis, EDI, UV light, and ultra-filtration, all integrated into a single high-efficiency system. The EDI module utilizes specialized resins to deionize the water, achieving 18 meg-ohm resistivity. To ensure purity, the water is then filtered through a 0.2-micron filter and subjected to UV light, which oxidizes organic material. Finally, it passes through an ultra-filtration membrane, eliminating oxidized organics and reducing bacterial endotoxin levels to below 0.005 EU/ml, producing nuclease-free water—free of DNase, RNase, and Protease.

Stringent Testing and Validation for Reliable Cell Culture Water:

To ensure exceptional quality for cell culture applications, IBI's water undergoes regular testing by two independent laboratories, assessing nuclease activity and bacterial endotoxin load. These results are validated against internal quality controls. Additionally, IBI cell culture water is aseptically bottled in sterile containers within an ISO 7 certified sterile suite under a fume hood. For each production lot, IBI performs comprehensive quality control, recording results on the certificate of analysis and conducting a 14-day USP sterility test on all products, ensuring reliable, consistent performance for critical cell culture applications.
